Privacy Policy

Stayonomy is a service of Starcode Services Kft. (Hungary) ("we"), which operates stayonomy.com, its public API and the Stayonomy integrations for AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, and acts as the data controller for the processing described below.

What we collect

• No accounts, no personal profiles. The site and API require no sign-up and no authentication.
• Query parameters. Searches contain the cities and dates you ask about. We process them to answer the request and keep them in aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics.
• Technical logs. IP address and request metadata are retained for up to 30 days, solely for rate limiting, abuse prevention and reliability.
• Approximate location. Your IP address is matched to an approximate city (via a local DB-IP database) only to pre-fill the origin field of the search form. The result is not stored.
• Analytics. The website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and outbound booking clicks; it sets cookies in your browser. We also record anonymous, aggregate usage of our API and AI-assistant integrations (which query was made, which link was clicked) — no personal profiles, no cross-site tracking.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share personal data.
• We do not use tracking cookies on this site.
• In AI-assistant integrations we do not see the rest of your conversation — only the parameters of the requests sent to us.

Outbound booking links

Booking links (stayonomy.com/go/…) redirect to third-party travel providers and may contain an affiliate identifier. Those providers have their own privacy policies; we receive no personal data back beyond aggregate conversion statistics.
